Dr. Hulka

Gregory F. Hulka, M.D. is a board-certified Otolaryngologist specializing in the care of the ears, nose and throat conditions of children. He received his bachelors degree from Northwestern University and his medical degree from Duke University. He completed his residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a fellowship at University of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

His practice ranges from more common conditions such as chronic ear infections, tonsillitis and obstructive sleep apnea to the care of more complex medical problems requiring comprehensive, coordinated care with other pediatric specialists.

Surgical care ranges from PE tube placement, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy to sinus surgery, neck masses and complex ear and airway procedures.

Dr. Hulka encompasses a conservative, integrated approach to caring for each child that includes understanding each problem from the parents’, child’s and other care provider’s viewpoint and educating the family in order for them to make informed decisions they feel good about in regards to their child’s care.

Prior to joining NCEENT, Dr. Hulka served as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Duke Medical Center. He now looks forward to caring for his patients at the Main Durham Office, South Durham Office and the Cary Office.
