Dr. MacPhee

Dr. Keelee MacPhee is a highly skilled plastic and reconstructive surgeon who has been in practice for over a decade. With a focus on breast surgery, transgender reconstruction, cosmetic enhancements and general cosmetic surgery, she is passionate about helping her patients become more confident and comfortable with their bodies.

Her goal always is to provide clinical excellence, while achieving beautiful, natural results. She performs surgery primarily at Duke Regional Hospital, part of the Duke University Health System.

Dr. MacPhee earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, finishing summa cum laude. She did her medical studies at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and her residency in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Surgery of the Hand at UNC. She also did a residency in the Division of Plastic Surgery and the Department of General Surgery at the University of Florida.

After a stint as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at a practice in Maryland, Dr. MacPhee returned to North Carolina in 2005 to open her own practice. She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

She worked at the Rex Wound Keelee MacPhee, M.D.Healing Center for more than seven years, and she is currently chair of Plastic Surgery at Rex.
