“North Carolina Specialty Hospital holds a special place in my heart for many reasons. Recently I had two procedures with excellent care and outcome. After that, I learned about the Hospital COVID 19 vaccination program. I came for that as soon as my doctor told me about it. It was very easy, friendly and painless experience. While there, I learned of their efforts to educate and inspire the community about vaccination importance. The Hospital’s purpose is right in line with an effort I led for Friends of Durham to develop a community Website. We aim to explain the mysteries of the virus, the vaccine, and the dangers of the disease. We are trying to address the unfortunate unwillingness of some of our neighbors to get themselves vaccinated for the sake of themselves, their family and for the sake of opening Durham again.
