Daniel Carpenter, MD

Dr. Daniel Carpenter specializes in shoulder, elbow, and general orthopedics, providing expert care for shoulder and elbow replacements, rotator cuff repairs, complex revision surgeries, fractures, and other orthopedic injuries. With a focus on patient-centered care, Dr. Carpenter is dedicated to helping patients restore mobility—whether their goal is to return to sports or enjoy everyday activities with greater ease.

Originally from Louisiana, Dr. Carpenter completed his medical degree at Louisiana State University, an Orthopedic Surgery residency at UNC-Chapel Hill, and a shoulder and elbow fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS) and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES), with extensive research and publication contributions.

Dr. Carpenter and his wife, Julie, an emergency medicine physician, reside in the area with their son. Outside of work, he enjoys fishing, hunting, and woodworking.
