Dr. Kyle Nappo is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine injuries. With over a decade of experience as a Naval Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Nappo served as the liaison surgeon for the Marine Special Operations Command, providing expert care to active patients.
Originally from southwest Michigan, Dr. Nappo attended Western Michigan University and the Lee Honors College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and graduated summa cum laude. He was a recipient of The Medallion Full Tuition Scholarship. Dr. Nappo then pursued his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, graduating with High Honors and receiving the prestigious Dr. Elis & Nellie Alford Award for academic excellence. His orthopedic surgery residency was completed at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he was recognized with the Norman T. Kirk award for being the top graduating resident.
For the last five years, Dr. Nappo has been stationed at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune, treating active-duty service members, their families, and military retirees. He also contributed to advancing medical research as a site investigator for a multi-center trial focusing on treatments for shoulder instability.
When not practicing medicine, Dr. Nappo enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, camping, golfing, and competing in triathlons.
