Dr. Michael H. McGraw

Dr. Michael McGraw is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with advanced expertise in sports medicine. He specializes in the treatment of shoulder, hip, and knee conditions, offering both surgical and non-surgical solutions to help patients return to active, healthy lifestyles.

Dr. McGraw completed his medical degree at Howard University, followed by residency training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He then pursued a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, where he cared for professional athletes with the New York Mets and collegiate athletes at East Carolina University.

His areas of focus include arthroscopic procedures, joint reconstruction, and minimally invasive techniques for shoulder instability, ACL injuries, and complex hip conditions. Recognized for his compassionate approach and surgical skill, Dr. McGraw was named a Top Orthopedic Doctor in North Carolina in 2022.

Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. McGraw is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and the Arthroscopic Association of North America.

When away from medicine, he enjoys fitness, golf, and spending time with his wife and son.
