Dr. Nathan Heineman

Dr. Nathan Heineman is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with specialized expertise in treating conditions of the hand, wrist, and elbow. He provides comprehensive care for common and complex concerns, including carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, arthritis, tendon and nerve injuries, and traumatic fractures or dislocations.

After graduating summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma, Dr. Heineman earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. During his orthopedic surgery residency, he served as chief resident and was honored with the Vert Mooney Award for academic excellence. He also received the prestigious Martin Allgower AO Travelling Fellowship, which took him to Switzerland to study advanced orthopedic techniques alongside international leaders in the field.

To further his expertise, Dr. Heineman completed fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Michigan, where he focused on innovative surgical and non-surgical approaches to complex conditions.

Dedicated to advancing the field, Dr. Heineman has published numerous peer-reviewed articles, chaired workshops, and presented his research nationally. He is also an active member of professional organizations, including the American Association for Hand Surgery and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
