Chief Nursing Officer
Dr. Andrea Hill is an accomplished nursing leader with a strong foundation in clinical practice and a proven track record of advancing healthcare excellence through education, leadership, and innovation. She began her career at UNC Hospitals in 2008, where she quickly advanced from charge nurse on a medical unit to assistant nurse manager within just two years. In 2010, Dr. Hill earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She also contributed to advancing nursing knowledge by co-authoring a published article in the Med-Surg Nursing journal.
Committed to continuous professional growth, Dr. Hill went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Executive Nursing Leadership from the University of Pittsburgh in 2015. That same year, she joined North Carolina Specialty Hospital as Director of Inpatient Services, where she provided a decade of exemplary leadership before being promoted to her current executive role.
Dr. Hill is an active member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership and the National Association for Healthcare Quality. Her leadership philosophy centers on integrity, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to ensuring exceptional care for every patient, every time.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Hill enjoys spending time with her family and exploring new places through travel.
