Randi Shults

Randi earned her undergraduate degree in Nursing from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and a Master’s degree in Health Service Administration from the University of St. Francis, Joliet, Illinois.

Randi has 11 years of Operating Room experience and 25 years’ experience in the management of surgical care delivery and overall hospital administration. She has worked in both the non-profit and for-profit arenas, as well as acute care hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers. Randi is also the Regional VP of Operations for Surgery Partners.

She has held the position of Chief Executive Officer with North Carolina Specialty Hospital since 2004, overseeing the overall performance of care delivery, quality, satisfaction, and fiscal well-being of the hospital. Under her leadership, NCSH has been rated one of the best hospitals in the country for patient satisfaction and quality. Randi has served on the Executive Board for Project Access of Durham County, a charitable organization focused on the delivery of specialty care to the uninsured.
