Dr. Enochs is a graduate of the University of South Alabama College Of Medicine. He completed residency training in advanced laparoscopy and bariatric surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center. Dr. Enochs also received post-graduate training at the University of California - San Francisco, the University of Chicago, Carolinas Medical Center, the Medical College of Virginia, and Duke University Medical Center.
Dr. Enochs founded Raleigh’s first private weight loss surgery practice in 2002. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.
Dr. Enochs specializes in General and Bariatric Surgery. He routinely performs Lap-Band, Sleeve Gastrectomy, and Gastric Bypass procedures. In addition, Dr. Enochs is a leading expert and national proctor for Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS), Robotics, and minimally invasive bariatric surgery. Dr. Enochs is able to offer patients the option of SILS Lap-Band, SILS Sleeve Gastrectomy, Robotic SILS Gallbladder Removal, Robotic Lap-Band, Robotic Sleeve Gastrectomy, and Robotic Gastric Bypass as an option to the standardl laparoscopic approach.
